An autumn is coming to an end...

Have you noticed that the autumn is coming to an end? I actually did, and to me usually it means to start photographing snow. But, how on Earth can I find a snow in the UK? I would have to go to Highlands, but I have no time...

I have started photographing the village where I live, but at night when is dark and houses are lit up by the street lights. Everything was great. I had good night light, Kodak TRI-X loaded in the camera and great frames, and then this...

Rodinal which you can buy these days in the shops is not a fraction of Rodinal that used to be made by Agfa. This is not a Rodinal at all - especially R09. This product crystallize after few months of storage.

Last night I have developed the pictures taken at night a few days ago, and.. the whole 2x films came out totally clean even with no frame marks... Thanks R09!!

So this time round ... Nikon D800

Given the current situation with the 'Rodinal R09' (btw. please don't buy it.... that's not even close to the original Rodinal at all) I had to refer to mine old friend Nikon D800.

This camera is great, it makes better pictures than I can take, so that's why I'm not going to upgrade it. That's sad but a true fact...

Here are some pictures of autumn I took in the recent days.
